STRICTLY recruit Jayde Adams has revealed the clever way she kept being on the show secret from her friends and family.
The comedian was today announced as the fifth contestant to star on this year’s series.
Appearing on BBC Radio 5 this morning, Jayde admitted is was difficult not to spill the beans – and gave away a clue about how she avoided it.
The comedy star said: “I’m up at the Edinburgh Festival, I’ve had to not go out to not drink and tell people.
“My family know, my mum and dad know but I really kept it quiet.”
The Bristolian actress and writer announced she will be joining actor Will Mellor, 46, and Loose Women star Kaye Adams, who was revealed as part of the dance line-up earlier this week.

Fans predicted mayhem in the new series after bosses announced Jayde going on the show.
The British comic is the second star with the surname Adams to be revealed as part of the line-up.
Viewers are convinced this similarity will cause “confusing” when the series kicks off next month.
A fan said: “Kaye Adams and Jayde Adams is going to confuse no end, but both great bookings.”
