LOVE Island’s Demi Jones has revealed producers tell stars what to talk about on the final dates.
Demi, 24, starred in the first winter series in 2020 and finished in third place with Luke Mabbott.
The pair enjoyed their final date in South Africa – and now Demi has lifted the lid on the experience.
She says Islanders are helped to come up with conversation that viewers will want to hear ahead of the finale.
Demi told the Mirror: “It’s not scripted and they never tell you what to say, but they might give you pointers.
“You could have a chat with your partner but after they’ll say ‘you haven’t really mentioned your journey or whether you’ll meet each other’s parents’.
“Then you use those pointers to continue the conversation.”
It comes as her co-star Shaughna, 28, told the Should I Delete That podcast, producers help Islanders write romantic recoupling speeches.

She also said the recouplings can take much longer than they appear to.
She said: “Hours. Hours. You don’t normally have to re-do… if it’s something very dramatic, then obviously they can’t really redo that
“But when you’re doing, like, the ‘I would like to couple up with this person because…’ you do that in three sections. So you say that, and then you have a big pause, then you say the next bit, pause.”
Shaughna continued: “You kind of go over it with a producer before, that night.

“So like during dinner time you kind of talk through it. It’s really produced.
“They kind of ask you to go for chats and certain things. It’s a TV show, so I get it.”
