Toronto, ON – A night of talent at BMO field, the Bob Bradley group wins at home, 4-0 against Charlotte FC.

On the debut of Lorenzo Insigne, Toronto FC got a very early goal from Jonathan Osorio which opened the scoring in the fourth minute, then after 3 years of standstill, Michael Bradley awoke and scored the second goal of the match at minute 10..

Since 2018, when competing in the Concacaf Champions League, we didn’t see Michael Bradley play like he did last night. Surely he feels the composition he has now with the inclusion of the Seríe A talents along side him.

At minute 31, Federico Bernardechi made it 3-0 and just before going to break, an assist by Lorenzo Insigne. Once again, the captain, Michael Bradley closed the half and scored the definitive fourth goal turning all the lights on the Italian players and the great performance of the Canadian Team.

The second half slowed down tremendously, showing the strategy from Bradley to keep the numbers on the scoreboard intact and shield the arc from goals on the Alex Bono arc.

A few highlights also on this game:  Alex Bono keeps his first clean sheet since September 2021. Federico Bernardeschi joined Alejandro Pozuelo as the second player in club history to score a goal and register an assist on his MLS debut. Doneil Henry made his 94th appearance for Toronto FC, 2.828 days after appearing in his 93rd game for the Reds against New England Revolution on October 25, 2014; and Toronto FC scored four goals in the first half of an MLS match for the first time in club history.
