Man Utd transfer news LIVE: Cristiano Ronaldo linked with Roma loan, Maguire to get Greece court date, De Jong update
MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly willing to let Cristiano Ronaldo lead on loan.
Atletico Madrid are the favourites to sign the Portugal captain and are even open to letting Antoine Griezmann go in order to make the transfer happen.
But there are also reports that Jose Mourinho’s Roma could make their own bid for Ronaldo.
One reason that move could appeal to the striker is to reclaim his record in shirt sales, which had just been broken by Paulo Dybala after he joined the club earlier in the week.
Meanwhile Harry Maguire has snubbed a move to Barcelona despite rumours claiming that a swap deal for him and Frenkie de Jong is being considered.
Away from football, the Man Utd captain is set to find out the date in which he will return to court in Greece in an attempt to clear his name following assault charges in 2020.
We also have all the latest news on United’s long term pursuit of Frenkie de Jong.
