Girls Aloud reunite for first time in NINE years as Cheryl, Nicola & Nadine do Race For Life in honour of Sarah Harding
GIRLS Aloud made their first public appearance since 2013 as they united in memory of late bandmate Sarah Harding.
Nicola Roberts, Cheryl Tweedy and Nadine Coyle posed for pictures before doing the Race For Life in London’s Hyde Park.
Kimberley Walsh was not able to make it, saying she would walk the five-kilometre distance remotely.
She appeared via video-link on Nicola’s phone as they started the race by sounding air horns – though it appeared Cheryl’s didn’t work.
The special event was held to raise money for Cancer Research UK in tribute to pop legend Sarah, who died from breast cancer aged 39 in September.
Thousands of fans gathered along the route to see the three pop stars take part alongside scores of other runners.

Others, including actor Scott McGlynn, filmed themselves taking part remotely like Kimberley.
All the money raised from the charity event will help to fund vital breast cancer research, with participants paying £14.99 to take part.
Girls Aloud are also going to reunite on stage for a one-off gig in memory of their late bandmate Sarah Harding.
The group, formed on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, had planned a reunion tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary, which was scrapped after Sarah’s death.

This one-off event is expected to take place later this year and the four-piece hope to raise funds for medical kit to help detect cancer earlier.
Nadine said: “We’re planning a night for an event to raise money in honour of Sarah.
“We want to do something to help others. She’s very much in the forefront of our minds.
“When she became unwell, a lot of my energy was focused on her. Her passing has been so devastating.”
