Mikey Aceves hits the list of California youth soccer players in Germany

Aceves played club soccer in the US since the age of 10 and most recently played in the Coast Premier League. He decided to come to Germany with IFX Soccer because he wanted to take his game to the next level and undoubtedly, the best place to do that is in Europe. Mikey trialed for SV Gutenstetten and TV Erlangen, both excellent teams from the Bezirksliga and Kreisliga Mittelfranken, and he confessed he greatly surprised with the level of team mates even in mid and lower divisions.

IFX representatives in Nürnberg are excited with Mikey's decision to accept the spot offered by SVG since the facilities and logistics the club offers are the top-notch in the region, and they have formed a strong roster for the 2022-23, looking to promote, facilitating not only accelerated development and exposure to higher league clubs.

While Mikey competes with his new German soccer team he will study German language at our partner institute in Nürnberg alongside other IFX players. Living in a foreign country always provides the benefit of learning the local language in many ways and at IFX we believe this is an essential asset to integrate and start a soccer career in Germany.

SV Gutenstetten proudly own its own digitally gamified football training room, a multimillion dollar facility where SVG’s athletes of all ages and performance levels improve their cognitive soccer skills. This is a big achievement in the region, putting SVG at the same level of the German record champion FC Bayern or 2. Bundesliga club FC Ingolstadt 04 in terms of training technology used in the development of talents.
