MODEL and socialite Hailey Bieber is always picture perfect, from her stylish clothes to her perfect hair.
While Bieber is often seen rocking a slicked back bun, her signature waves have not received as much love from some Instagram users.
Bieber recently posted a YouTube tutorial showing viewers how to achieve her “wavy hair for a night out” look.
Instagram account About Her Hair shared user Nitsan Raiter’s demonstration of Bieber’s wavy hair technique.
The technique involves simply crimping your hair by twisting your iron as you move it over your hair.
In her video, Bieber warns viewers not to create dents in their hair.
“Be careful about not squeezing the iron too tight,” said the model.
Bieber concludes her video with a spray of dry shampoo, which she said left her hair “looking clean and fresh, but also textured and messy, and a little bit gritty.”
While Nitsan’s side-by-side comparison of the technique turned out almost identical, Instagram users were quick to judge the look.
“Looks as if you had your hair tied and the elastic left marks,” commented one person.
