LOVE Island bad boy Adam Collard left fans shocked when he made a surprising statement about one of the girls.
In Wednesday night’s episode Adam, 26, pulled Paige Thorne for a chat after Jacques O’Neill‘s shock exit.
Clearly taken by Paige, 24, Love Island series four alumni Adam later referred to her as “wife material” – and viewers were baffled.
One wrote on Twitter: “‘Wife material’ is this THE Adam collard, master woman manipulator and all time player??”
Another said: “Sorry but Adam Collard & wife material has me creased. As if.”
But a third added: “Adam said he wants wife material damn my man really changed he wants to settle down.”

Meanwhile Paige also had viewers scratching their heads – but for a different reason.
Jacques’ emotional exit from the villa apparently left Paige heartbroken, and fans couldn’t understand why she didn’t just leave with him.
Taking to Twitter to discuss it, one person wrote: “I don’t understand why Paige didn’t just leave with Jacques?? #Loveisland.”
A second added: “I’m sorry i actually don’t know if i’m being dense here but if paige is so upset about jacques leaving then leave too?? #LoveIsland.”

The rugby player, 23, announced his shock exit during Tuesday’s episode, explaining that he felt the best thing for his relationship with Paige was for him to return home so he could be at his “best” for her.
