Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has said that he expects Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham all to improve in the upcoming season, as reported by The Times.
Spurs emphatically clinched fourth spot last season, drubbing Norwich City 5-0 to ensure Champions League football will return to N17.
Chelsea finished in third place, whilst Manchester United had to settle for sixth after a lacklustre campaign (Premier League).
Antonio Conte’s demand for summer reinforcements has been permitted by Daniel Levy and co. Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, and Clement Lenglet have all arrived and, with the exception of Lenglet due to visa issues, have travelled for pre-season in South Korea (Football.London).
Speaking to Football.London, Conte has admitted that he would be ready to sanction further moves in the transfer market, should the right opportunities arise.
The Italian also spoke of his ambitions for Spurs to fight on all fronts next season (Football.London), and Henderson believes that the Lilywhites will show improvements in order to do so.
Speaking to The Times, the England international said: “I never think it will be just us and City.
“The other teams have strengthened. You look at Chelsea, they are strengthening, United will strengthen, Spurs have done quite a lot so far. You look at other teams who are also going to strengthen.”

It’s great to see the recognition that Conte’s work is beginning to get, having steered Spurs into the top four after being given Nuno Espirito Santo’s mess to clean up.
I personally think another season is needed in order to close the gap on the top two. However, the Premier League can be a strange place.
