The death of a 52-year-old woman from Aizawl has triggered an outrage on social media in Mizoram with netizens linking her death to the raids on her grape wine shop at the Millennium Centre on May 27. Lalhriatpuii, who died on July 11 of a stroke, was reported to have gone into acute depression that led to deterioration of health after Rs 22-lakh worth Mizoram-produced grape wine bottles were seized from her shop by the Mizoram excise and narcotics department, leaving her penniless.
