THIS TRICKY puzzle requires a bit of lateral thinking to solve.
The brain-teaser posted to TikTok presents you with six matchsticks arranged into two triangles placed side by side.
Players are then asked to “move one stick to make four triangle” by user freddie19611, who uploaded the clip.
The puzzle has a simple solution – but to get there you’ll need to think outside of the box.
In his video, posted in October 2021, freddie19611 shows viewers the quick and easy solution.
Rather than creating four separate triangles, the answer involves creating the phrase “4 triangle”.

Take the righthand side of the left triangle and turn it clockwise roughly 45 degrees.
You should be left with the number “4” in place of the triangle.
That means the pair together now read “4 triangle” – a somewhat cheeky solution to the original task.
It’s not the only fiendish puzzle to do the rounds on TikTok.
On Tuesday, we showed you a brain-teaser that presents you with a grid of nine dots arranged into a square made up of three lines of three.
To beat it, you have to connect every dot using three straight lines drawn with a pencil or pen.
The twist is that you cannot lift your writing implement from the page at any point.
That makes it next-to-impossible unless you use a cheeky (or genius) trick.
And last week, we reported on an emoji-themed brain teaser that asks you to solve an equation using the solution to three equations that have been completed for you.
It’s a simple algebra problem that’s a lot trickier than it looks.
The puzzle has done the rounds on social media in the past and was recently shared on TikTok by a user who goes by @puzzlegame21.
