Bradley Cooper is in a relationship with Huma Abedin, People reported on July 12. The pair both appeared separately at the Met Gala back in May, and Anna Wintour, a friend of Abedin's, is rumored to have set them up, according to Page Six.
Cooper, 47, separated from his ex Irina Shayk in 2019 after four years together. The pair share daughter Lea De Seine, who was born in 2017. The actor opened up about parenthood to People in June, telling the outlet that despite his struggles with self-esteem and addiction, "everything changed" when he became a father. "Every single thing is absolutely shaded by, or brought into glorious colors, by the fact that I get to be a father to a wonderful human being," he said.
Cooper, who starred in and directed 2018's Oscar-winning "A Star Is Born," is set to star as Leonard Bernstein in the film "Maestro," which he will also direct and is expected to come out in 2023.
Abedin, 45, is a political staffer who was the vice chair of Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign and currently serves as Clinton's chief of staff. She was also married to disgraced politician Anthony Weiner until 2016. She has a son, Jordan Zain Weiner, who was born in 2011, and she is also the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir "Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds." She has been open about the challenges of the dissolution of her relationship with Weiner, telling The Cut in November 2021 that "in hindsight," she was "in extreme trauma" during the fallout.
However, that same month she told People that she has worked to maintain a good relationship with Weiner for the sake of their son. "Anthony is always going to be in my life because he is the father of my child," she said. "I want to make sure he's healthy, that we are in a healthy relationship, that our son sees model behavior that is healthy for him."
