The mockumentary series is inspired by the 2014 film of the same name. Cameras follow four vampires and their human familiar as they navigate Staten Island and all of the facets of modern life, like using the internet and interacting with neighbors.
The new season picks up one year after the events of the season three finale, which saw the vampires go separate ways. Now, they're all back on Staten Island and ready for more hijinks, including opening a nightclub, finding true love, and raising a baby.
"What We Do in the Shadows" has an average "98% fresh" rating across all four seasons on review-aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
