Amazon Prime Day is a great time to find excellent deals, even on Google hardware.
Specifically, Google Nest — Google's line of smart home devices — is seeing some worthwhile discounts for Prime Day, including the lowest prices of the year we've seen for the Google Nest Doorbell (battery), the Google Nest Cam Indoor (wired), the Google Nest Cam Indoor/Outdoor camera (battery), the Google Nest Thermostat, and even the Google Nest WiFi mesh system.
When it comes to smart home devices, we recommend trying to consolidate your setup in as few brands/platforms as possible. That way, you can control and view all your smart home devices through the same ecosystem.
If you buy Google Nest cameras, for example, you can view your doorbell, outdoor, and indoor cameras in Google's Home app without switching to different apps. If you include the Google Nest Thermostat, you can view you cameras and control your home's climate.
