Love Island fans predict shock new romance after Jacques O’Neill quits the villa

LOVE Island fans are convinced that they have exposed a shocking new romance in the villa.

After a rather turbulent week on the ITV2 dating show courtesy of Casa Amor, the villa has been turned upside down.

Paige Thorne and Dami Hope both saw their beaus in Jacques O’Neill and Indiyah Polack have their heads turned, leaving fans with a certain theory.

At the start of Monday’s episode, Dami very nearly went home as he found himself at the mercy of his fellow Islanders after landing in the bottom two.

It was the job of Gemma Owen to announce that the safe couples had opted to keep Dami in the villa.

And while Indiyah reacted with a subtle smile, it was Paige whose relief was the most obvious.

She quickly jumped to hug Dami, with the move not going unnoticed by eagle-eyed viewers at home.

While Paige and Dami have been close since day one of the new series, many have flooded Twitter with theories that their feelings are stronger than friendship.

Alongside an array of red love heart emojis, one person penned: “I sense something between Dami and Paige.”

Echoing their comments, someone else said: “I reckon there’s a connection between Dami and Paige. Oh, just get together already!”

While a third remarked: “Paige is keeping Dami in so she can explore her connection with him.”

Others said they were pleased that Paige and Dami’s friendship survived another day.

And the pair may now be able to explore their feelings – especially with Jacques O’Neill now out of the picture.

The rugby player made the decision to exit the series, just hours after former star Adam Collard entered the villa.

A Love Island spokesperson confirmed that he had walked away from the villa following his clash with Adam.

“Jacques has made the decision to leave the villa,” the representative said.

“He will explain his reasons to the Islanders during tonight’s episode.

“We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what’s next for Jacques.”
