FinTech Innovative Payment Solutions, TV’s Mario Lopez Sign Endorsement Deal
Innovative Payment Solutions, Inc. (IPSI) has teamed with Mario Lopez, a TV personality who has appeared on “Access Hollywood” and “Saved by the Bell,” to boost awareness of products involving remittances to Mexico, the company announced Monday (July 11).
The FinTech provides digital payment solutions for business owners and consumers. Lopez will reportedly be working as a spokesperson to highlight the challenges faced by the unbanked and underserved communities in the U.S. and Latin America, and how IPSI’s products will address those issues.
IPSI is working on developing mobile application eWallets to let customers deposit cash, convert it to a digital form and remit them to Mexico or other countries. The company boasts the IPSIPay eWallet, which will be launched commercially now that Lopez has signed on to help.
Lopez said he has numerous relatives in the U.S. and Mexico and is familiar with the challenges involved with sending money, which are often accompanied by high fees.
“I grew up right on the border in Chula Vista (San Diego) and my parents, who immigrated from Mexico, raised me in the US which afforded me every opportunity to accomplish all of the successes that I’ve been so blessed to have achieved in my life,” Lopez said in the release. “I want to do my part in giving that same opportunity to others.
“I’m excited about this partnership with IPSI and am very proud to be closely associated with a company that I believe can make a real difference in many people’s lives, especially those who are often underserved in the simple task of taking care of their hard-earned money.”

The economy in Mexico has been weakened by numerous factors, and the partnership aims to help families with sending money through Western Union, letting recipients in Mexico collect the payments through Mercado Pago, the digital finance arm of MercadoLibre.
