A WOMAN has hit back at people who call her a gold digger for dating a man 19 years older than her.
TikTok user Emily Downing uploaded a video with her silver-haired partner, and said: “You get 5 years added to your life every time someone asks if your fiance is your dad.”
Travel nurse Emily added that she is 26, while her male model partner Michael is 45.
The couple met in a yoga class and Emily said her parents love and support their relationship.
Despite her regularly posting about her job, trolls were quick to judge her for being with her older chap for his money.
One commented: “She focused on his wallet” and another added: “Just for the money.”

However, on her @emily_downing account, the couple discussed their opinions on finances.
He said about bank accounts: “Separate when dating and then joint account when you get married or still separate account.
“You’ve got to do you, I’ve got to do me and it makes for a healthy relationship.”
Emily agreed saying: “Contrary to what people think, I actually make my own money.
“I always want at least one of my own.”
Many people offered support for their relationship in the comments, with one saying: “Really cute couple. Wishing you all the best.”
Another commented: “fav couple.”
