Amazon Prime Day 2022 is just a day away, and we're seeing early deals on Apple's coveted MacBook laptops, including the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro series. Competitors, like Best Buy and B&H, are also offering discounts.
All of Apple's latest MacBook models now run on the company's own processors that start with the letter "M". With that said, you'll likely be able to find deals on older Intel-based MacBook laptops during Prime Day 2022.
Still, we recommend you pay a bit more to get a MacBook that runs on Apple's M processors. They're much more powerful and will be supported by Apple longer than the Intel models.

Which MacBook laptop should I buy?
You can make your MacBook purchase decision based on screen size, which can make things easier. If you absolutely want a MacBook laptop with a large screen, your best bet is Apple's 16-inch MacBook Pro. If that's too pricey, your next best bet is the 14-inch MacBook Pro, or the new 13.6-inch MacBook Air.
You can also make your decision based on your needs. If you're a casual laptop user, either the M1 or M2 MacBook Air models will easily suit your needs. If you value performance, you'll be looking at the MacBook Pro options, especially the newer 14-inch or 16-inch models with the upgraded M1 Pro/M1 Max processors.
Apart from those two main aspects, you need to think about how much storage you need. You can also configure MacBook laptops with more memory (RAM), which will help the laptop perform better if your workflow involves many open apps and windows.
