Two teachers and a total of two students wrote in his yearbook. Despite Brody asking all kinds of kids to sign it.”
So Brody took it upon himself to write to himself. My heart is shattered.”
The heartbreaking message to himself reads: “I hope you made some more friends.”
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Cassandra told how she was aware that Brody had been struggling with bullies at school.

“Brody is pretty outgoing, he’s smart, he puts himself out there, yet he still doesn’t make many friends,” she explained.
“I have worked with the school to try and fix the bullying, teasing, and harassment that has gone on this year.”

Cassandra went on to recall how the day Brody got his yearbook, he wasn’t acting himself. So she decided to ask him whether he’d got all of his signatures.
“His face got really sad,” she explained. “He said, ‘No Mum, no one really signed my yearbook, I asked people and they either told me no or that they would do it later, that they were too busy for me.”
“My heart sunk at that point. No one wants to see their kiddo in pain.”
The devastated mum told how she reassured her son that people may have just had a “hectic day.”
However, she admitted that she “bawled her eyes out” later that night when she took a look at her son’s blank yearbook for the first time – and signed it herself to reassure him that she’ll always be his friend.
Cassandra’s initial post has since got viral and been flooded with other students who are all eager to sign Brody’s yearbook – and he even received both a letter and present from Paul Rudd.
