Casper's dog bed was made by the same people who designed its human-oriented mattresses (the most well-rounded mattresses you can buy online, in our opinion), so expect great quality for the price. The padding itself is made up of layers of pressure-relieving memory foam and durable support foam that keeps its shape over time, while its cover is constructed from nylon that's soft but durable enough to hold up against digging and scratching. That cover is easily removed using for washing (!) thanks to some zippers around its edges, which are hidden by sewn-in pockets that prevent them from scratching the floor.
