Love Island fans spot telltale signs Gemma isn’t committed to Luca after bust-up with Ekin
LOVE Island fans think they’ve spotted a huge clue Gemma Owen isn’t committed to Luca Bish after her bust-up with Ekin-Su.
The dressage rider was furious when she learned Ekin-Su had been gossiping about her relationship behind her back.
The Turkish actress suggested Gemma could have her head turned by a new boy, and the news filtered back to Luca.
Rather than talk it through with Luca straightaway, she instead went for a sit down with Ekin-Su.
It prompted viewers to question her priorities.
One viewer said: “Gemma couldn’t tell Luca straight away cause she panicked and wanted to make sure everyone would back her up first.”
A second said: “Gemma not telling Luca straight away is a sign of disrespect.”
A third posted: “Why hasn’t Gemma gave Luca reassurance first.. it’s kinda implying she doesn’t care for Luca. bc if it was me i would go to the person i like and defend myself straightaway icl #loveisland.”
Another said: “Gemma is RATTLED that Ekin-Su revealed her plan. And that stupid fool called Luca is so blinded by being Michael Owen’s future son-in-law that he’s blamed Ekin-Su for what Dami said and Gemma agreed with.”
Earlier in the episode in an attept to show off his party trick, Dami attempted to read Gemma’s mind about where her head is at in the villa.
He said: “You’re happy with Luca right now. I feel like it would take a lot for your head to turn but there is a small chance that it probably could if someone really came in that was 100% you. I feel like that is where the confusion would probably come for you because we’re not here to play games. I feel like you’re still open in a sense, probably more open than Luca.”
Gemma admitted: “Yeah, that was quite impressive. I don’t think you’re that far wrong.”
After Dami said the conversation should stay private, Ekin-Su said the ‘reading’ to Paige and Jacques, who then told Luca.
As news got back to Gemma about Ekin-Su’s conversations, Gemma confronted Ekin-Su, saying: “You have started this, you’ve made drama over nothing!”
She continued: “You had no right to say that and knew that was going to cause s***.”
