West Ham are keen on signing Leeds winger Raphinha with the Brazilian still firmly on Tottenham’s radar, according to 90min.
Raphinha has emerged as one of the top names potentially available this summer and a host of clubs have come forward with transfer interest.
Fabrizio Romano revealed that Spurs have told Leeds they intend to make a bid for the 25-year-old after rivals Arsenal had an offer knocked back with it falling below the asking price (The Athletic).
The Italian journalist also reiterated that Barcelona have fully agreed on personal terms while Chelsea, under new ownership, are continuing to monitor the situation.
But the aforementioned clubs could see their interest joined by that of West Ham, who have recently emerged as another potential destination for Raphinha.
90min explain the Hammers attempted to sign Raphinha in January and have now reignited their pursuit with the forward keeping a move to the London Stadium under consideration.
However, the report explains that Barcelona remain the preferred destination for the Leeds man, although the Blaugrana’s uncertain financial situation is complicating a deal from being completed.
Spurs Web Opinion
There are plenty of clubs in the hunt for Raphinha which will only drag this transfer scenario out throughout the summer.
West Ham is an interesting option for him as he would definitely receive guaranteed minutes there, but Barcelona are evidently his choice over anyone else.
