The U.S. has delivered more than 4 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines for young children to approximately 13,000 sites across the country, according to remarks made Thursday by White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Ashish Jha. The Food and Drug Administration last week authorized the BioNTech SE /Pfizer Inc. and Moderna Inc.'s COVID-19 shots for children between the ages of 6 months old and 5 years old. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has also signed off on giving the shots to young children.
