S.Korea posts trade deficit in 1st 20 days of May

SEOUL, May 23 (Xinhua) -- South Korea posted trade deficit for the first 20 days of this month due to faster growth in import than export, customs office data showed Monday.

Trade deficit amounted to 4.83 billion U.S. dollars in the May 1-20 period, according to Korea Customs Service. The country has recorded trade deficits this year except for February.
