A bride refused to tie the nuptial knot when she came to know that the ornaments gifted to her by her in-laws were artificial. However, after a while, when the police intervened and a panchayat was held, wherein when the groom side promised to give her original jewellery, the bride agreed for ‘vidai’ ceremony and left for her in-laws’ place, reports Faiz Siddiqui.
