Inter Milan forward Martin Satriano has admitted that he has read about and is flattered by Tottenham’s reported interest in him ahead of the transfer window.
Satriano joined Inter in January 2020 but was loaned out to French side Brest for the remainder of the current campaign to allow him to gain more minutes and experience.
The 21-year-old has impressed since his arrival, notching four goals in 11 starts for the Ligue 1 side (Transfermarkt), who are sitting comfortably in mid-table ahead of their final league game against Bordeaux this Saturday.
Satriano’s performances have caught the eye of Tottenham, according to the Mirror (24/04; page 75), with Antonio Conte thought to be keen on reuniting with the Uruguayan striker.
And Satriano, who has not clarified his future, seems to be aware of Spurs’ interest as he feels honoured for his efforts to be recognised by the North London club.
He told L’Interista: “I’ve heard and read about Tottenham. I’m obviously glad that some teams have noticed me, but only because it means I’m doing well. I’m young and I have to grow a lot.
“I still don’t know [what my future holds]. I can’t tell you now what my future will be. I’m just thinking about finishing the season. And about the holidays!”

Tottenham do need another striker and going down the route of bringing in a young talent could be one way of going about addressing that.
If they do, then he won’t have a big role with Harry Kane being the main man, but a year or two could see them work their way up.
But in terms of Satriano, he is still a relatively new Inter player that has not had a chance of playing regular first-team football yet, so they may not want to part ways with him this quickly.
