I got my brows microbladed at a salon I saw on Instagram – they were awful and took years to fade then looked even WORSE
A WOMAN has warned all beauty lovers to watch her video after a microblading appointment went horribly wrong.
Over the years, microblading has become all the rage – it gives a more fuller and defined-looking brow.
But despite its high popularity, one woman was not so happy with the outcome and took it social media to share her journey.
In a TikTok clip, which has racked up more than 51,000 views in just a day, Hannah Chan (@thehannahchan) said: ”If you ever consider getting your eyebrows microbladed, watch this video.”
According to the woman, who has more than 22,000 fans on her social media page, she got her brows done three years ago.
”Straight of the bat, they were already too dark.”

Hannah then explained in the comments that she was told multiple times that the brows would fade completely in 12 months time.
However, much to her surprise, it never happened and her eyebrows were still very dark.
She proceeded to message them: ”I was wondering though, are they permanent or will they wear off?
”Because since I dyed my hair blond, they are a little to stand out ish [sic].”

The person who responded Hannah reassured the beauty lover yet again that there was no reason to worry – the colour would ”gradually fade”.
Three years later the microbladed eyebrows did fade – but unfortunately, they now had an ”ugly green-black” tint.

Unhappy with how her eyebrows were looking, Hannah made the decision to get them removed by a professional.
”I finally went to my first laser tattoo removal session,” the woman said whilst showing off her bare face.
And although the dark tint was now almost gone, Hannah’s brows were left with a bright orange pigment by the bottom – which the tattoo whizz promised to get rid of in a follow-up appointment.
”If you’re getting your eyebrows microbladed just consider the fact that there’s a chance they might not come off and you might have ti get them removed.
”I’ve learnt to ask them for pictures of long-term results, everything looks good when fresh!”
Mortified, some viewers took it to comments to share their thoughts, with many thanking Hannah for the video.
”I don’t think I can do anything permanent or semi-permanent because I’m too scared of stories like this…[shocked emoji],” read one of the top comments.

Someone else shared their horror story: ”got mine done in 2017, theyve faded to a light brown/pinkish blur so it looks like I filled them in with eye shadow, not hair strokes [sic].”
