TEEN Mom Amber Portwood’s ex claimed she threatened to slit his throat and tried to play a tape of her furious rant in court.
In audio of their explosive custody hearing exclusively obtained by The Sun, Amber’s ex, Andrew Glennon, 37, claimed the reality star threatened to slit his throat while he slept and that he had audio of the alleged incident.
As The Sun exclusively reported, Amber’s second baby daddy Andrew wants to move with their son James, 3, to California, which the mother of two, an Indiana native, is fighting to prevent.
During Andrew’s testimony in the still undecided case, he told the judge about an alleged incident involving the Teen Mom star which occurred on April 15 of 2019.
Andrew told the judge that he had audio of the alleged incident which he had recorded himself.
The father-of-one’s attorney asked if Amber had threatened to stab him, which he claimed that she had.

As his attorney pressed for additional details, Andrew told the judge “The audio ends with her saying I’m going to f***ing stab you. She said she will slit my throat in my sleep.”
Amber’s attorney later pressed Andrew on the recording during cross-examination, and asked if the MTV star had told him to get away from her, to which he replied “I don’t know.”
She also pressed Andrew, asking: “Isn’t it true in those recordings, that Amber was not aware she was being recorded?” to which he replied “No.”
While Andrew’s legal team wanted the audiotape played in court, Amber’s side requested they not be admitted.
The judge ultimately decided that the audio be “admitted over the objection of the mother,” and that she would “listen to the recording after the conclusion of these proceedings.”
The judge added into the record: “I’ll go ahead and just show that I will be listening to them outside of the record,” and told Andrew’s counsel they would be able to ask questions in regards to the recording, and that Amber’s side would later be able to cross-examine him on them as well.
Andrew currently lives with their son in a home Amber owns in Indiana, while she is living in a rental nearby.
During his own March 2 testimony exclusively revealed by The Sun, Andrew was asked about the proposed parenting time schedule for Amber.
He said he would allow her visitation “three times a month for 10 hours at a time.”
He also asked for no overnights, and that her parenting time be applied only in California.
During the hearing, Amber’s ex also testified that he was unable to find a job in Indiana, but that he had three job offers on the table in California.
There was one real estate job offer, and the other two offers were sales-based, which were submitted to the court as evidence.
During the cross-examination, Andrew admitted that he had not taken his real estate exam yet.
Amber has been embroiled in a heated custody battle with Andrew over their toddler son for years.
In addition to fights over money and visitation time, Andrew has forbidden Amber from featuring James on her MTV reality show, claiming the child has a right to privacy.
