One of the best trends in all of sports is — hopefully — back.
We’ve seen Masters winners like Patrick Reed (at a Chick-fil-a drive thru and a Rockets game) and Sergio Garcia (at Wimbledon) wear their green jackets to events that have nothing to do with golf. And they should! It’s a wearable trophy!
And now, there’s 2022 winner at Augusta Scottie Scheffler wearing his green jacket to throw out a first pitch at the Texas Rangers’ game against the Houston Astros, which looks kind of hard when you’ve got a blazer on. But he didn’t bounce it, as he noted afterwards:
