Emmerdale’s Faith Dingle is hiding devastating secret from her family
EMMERDALE’S Faith Dingle is hiding a huge secret from her family, soap boss Laura Shaw has revealed.
The schemer – who is played by actress Sally Dexter in the ITV soap – will soon spiral out of control in the village for reasons unknown.
Viewers saw her do similar last year when she thought her cancer had returned.
But this time Faith will confide in her daughter-in-law Moira Dingle.
Speaking to The Sun and other media, Laura said: “We’ll see something is going on with Faith that she is keeping secret, why?
“There’s actually some lovely scenes exploring motherhood in these episodes, not just with Gabby but with Faith too and her big, huge and shocking secret.

“That’s revealed to Moira and she becomes the one she shared that with.
“There’s some really touching scenes during the week between Moira and Faith.”
The secret will spark a big storyline for Faith’s two children – Cain and Chas.
“Cain and Chas is our most loved sibling pairing,” Laura said.
“They have a lot going on as Faith’s secret from the big week will impact on them.”
And there will be a huge emotional episode about the secret.
“We’re actually just about to start filming a really special episode that honestly made me cry just reading the script,” the producer added.
