West Ham ‘concede they will have to sell Declan Rice amid Man Utd and City transfer interest’
WEST HAM have reportedly “conceded” that they will have to sell Declan Rice as Manchester United and City circle.
The England midfielder still has two years left on his contract at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have desperately tried to tie the 23-year-old down to a new long-term deal.
However, it has now emerged that Rice has rejected a third offer by the club.
Now The Athletic claims that West Ham have “conceded internally they will have to sell him in 12 months” time.
But David Moyes’ side, who are battling for a top six finish and have a Europa League semi-final this week, are determined to keep him for at least another season.

They also have the option of a 12-month extension – but now it seems they are ready to cash in next year on Rice.
This latest report states they are looking for at least £150million for him.
Rivals Chelsea and Manchester United are both said to be in hot pursuit of the star.
And Man City have also been linked with a move for him previously.

Asked if a British-record fee of £150m is Rice’s current value, gaffer Moyes said: “If you are interested, well, it will be north of that.
“£100m was cheap last summer. £150m just now would be minimum but he is not for sale.
“What I do know is that it means there are only certain clubs that could even consider it.”
