A PENSIONER couple and man found dead inside sheltered accommodation were all stabbed to death, police revealed today.
The bodies of Susan and Jeffrey Farrance, in their 60s, were discovered in the leafy village of Bourne End, Bucks, by armed cops.
A third man, aged in his 50s, was also found in the sheltered housing block following the horror on Tuesday night.
Police confirmed today all three victims died from stab wounds to the chest and abdomen following a “serious assault”.
A murder probe has now been launched with officers saying all three people were known to each other.
It comes as horrified neighbours told how the drama unfolded after armed cops stormed the block.

One said: “I woke up find to armed officers with guns, going bang bang bang and I saw forensic science officers later.
“The attack took place in the main foyer of the flats.”
Retired pub landlady Avril Roll, aged 76 years, added: “When the gun squads came in, with their bullet-proof vests and their big guns, it was really quite scary. I was shaking until 4 am.”
Tributes have now flooded in for elderly couple Sue and Jeff, who attended a local church together.
One devastated friend revealed how it would have been Jeff’s birthday last night.
He added: “They were a loving, quiet people. They were funny and kind, we had a great time with them.
“Sue was always happy and she would come around and go out with the kids. Jeff was also so loving, he was funny and he had his own ways.
“They were both just lovely people, I can’t get my head around what has happened to them.
“They helped other people and they were always giving to other people who needed it, they would always put other people first.”
Police were scrambled to the sheltered accommodation just before 10pm on Thursday following reports of a “disturbance”.
Thames Valley Police confirmed the victim’s next of kin have been informed.
Senior investigating officer Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown, of the Major Crime Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the victims’ families at what must be an extremely difficult time for them and they have asked for their privacy to be respected.
“We are still investigating the circumstances of this very complex enquiry, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with it and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
“A scene watch is still likely to be in place for a number of days, which is likely to have an impact on local residents and I would like to thank them for their continued patience.

“Members of the public are also still likely to see an increased police presence while we continue to investigate this and we would advise anyone with any concerns to please speak to one of our uniformed officers.”
Anyone who heard a disturbance or saw anything suspicious at Orchard House or Spring Gardens between 5pm and 10pm have been urged to get in touch.
