A SHOCKED man claimed he was fired from his tutoring job before he even got the chance to start.
He said it all had to do with a simple question he asked his boss.
A confused man claimed he was fired from his job for asking about his pay[/caption] His boss claimed the man only cared about pay and he did not agree with that[/caption]The anonymous man posted the supposed text message exchange with his former boss on Reddit, according to Daily Mail.
The messages he posted appeared to show him asking how often he’d get paid and when his first paycheck will be processed.
While his boss answered the first question with “bi weekly,” he had much more to say following the second question.
“I [changed] my mind.

“I would hire someone whose desire is to work with the company,” the message read.
The poster was unsurprisingly confused, and supposedly replied that he did in fact want to work for the unnamed company, and added that “pay information is important” to “properly budget for bills.”
The boss was still unimpressed and replied to the man to “carry on,” as he needed someone that would “work with the flow” of the company.
“But your priority is only pay,” the text continued.
“And I am not looking for any candidates whose priority is only pay.”
The poster then tried to convince his boss that he is a qualified candidate who simply needs to know when he will be paid.
“My priority is helping children learn,” the texts read.
“I can’t do that very well if I don’t have money for food, gas, or shelter.”
No further screenshots were shared.
While being fired from a job is normally not a happy ending, fellow Reddit users have flooded the post with supportive comments telling the man that the situation is probably for the best.
“Well that’s another red flag – the boss can’t even string a sentence together,” one person noted.
“I doubt you would have been paid.”
“Asking about when you should expect to get paid, the payment method and the payment rate are all valid questions before starting a new job. He dodged a bullet,” another user added, with many in agreement.
The anonymous man is not the first person to share the story of their firing online.
