Mark Wahlberg is hard at work promoting his new film Father Stu!
The 50-year-old actor attended a special screening of the movie in Helena, Montana at Cinemark Theatre on Monday (April 4).
He was joined at the event by director Rosalind Ross and Reverend Bart Tolleson, a longtime friend of the real Father Stu.
Based on the life of Stuart Long, the film stars Mark as a a boxer-turned-priest who later battled a muscular disease. The movie also stars Mel Gibson, Teresa Ruiz, and Jacki Weaver.
Earlier this week, the actor discussed the physical and spiritual journey he went on while making the movie. Father Stu opens in theaters on April 13 and you can see the trailer here.
