DEAR DEIDRE: I’M finding it more and more difficult to ejaculate.
I don’t have a partner. I got divorced at 35 and have been on my own pretty much ever since. I’m now 58.
No issue is too small, too large or too embarrassing. Read our personal replies here.
But I enjoy pornography and sometimes chat to girls via webcam for thrills, although recently I’ve found it harder to climax.
Every problem gets a personal reply, usually within 24 hours weekdays.

It’s really worrying for me, as I never used to have this problem.
Do you think it’s down to my age, or using too much porn?
DEIDRE SAYS: It could be due to a combination of too much pornography and your age.
But my best advice is for you to have a chat with your GP just to make sure there is no underlying medical cause.
Don’t be embarrassed. A healthy sex life and even masturbating is good for us mentally and physically.

Discussing it is all in a day’s work for your doctor.
Try to focus on other things and ease off the pornography. You might find that in a few weeks your sexual urges are stronger.
