AFTER unexpectedly becoming a father to baby Alfie, Imran Habeeb wants to keep his son at his side.
Next week in Coronation Street, he makes a drastic decision and his former fiancée Toyah Battersby gets involved.
Toyah made a devastating decision about Elsie[/caption] But Imran has a trick up his sleeve[/caption]Upon finding out Imran (played by actor Charlie De Melo) was the father of Abi’s son, Toyah (Georgia Taylor) made a move and chose to give up on adopting their foster daughter Elsie.
But Imran will have a shocking suggestion to make regarding baby Alfie.
Coming up, Toyah’s heart breaks as Elsie leaves with the social worker and drowns her sorrows.
She first tries to confront Imran in his office but finds out the solicitor is gone to visit Alfie in hospital.

Later on, when he asks her to let him put things right, Toyah is brutally honest about how she feels.
Imran is left to pick up the pieces and goes flat hunting, suggesting Abi could move in with Alfie but she turns him down.
When he finds out from Kelly that Abi saved her from taking morphine in the wake of her mother Laura’s death, Imran is worried as he recalls the mechanic’s recent drugs relapse.
Imran shares his fears with Toyah and turns his back on Abi by intending to fight for custody of Alfie.
He goes a step further by claiming he would love Toyah to help him raise his son.
Meanwhile, Abi tries to clean up her act in an attempt to prove how fit of a mother she can be for Alfie.
She tells Kevin she would like to return to work so she can afford to buy her son some things.
But Imran’s decision to fight for custody bursts her bubble and prompts her to turn to her own solicitor Elliot.
Later on, Abi tells Imran she will be fighting him all the way for Alfie – and the latter resorts to dirty tricks to make sure he wins.
Abi and Imran had a one night stand in October, 2021, but kept their quick affair a secret.
The cat was finally completely out of the bag after Abi gave birth to Alfie, leading Toyah and Kevin to find out he was the father.
