AS Linda Carter rekindles with Walford, Sharon Watts has welcomed her in her home.
But she soon has other things to worry about after she makes a horrific discovery about Ben Mitchell in EastEnders.
Sharon finds out something shocking about Ben Mitchell[/caption] Ben is acting out, months after his homophobic attack[/caption]While drama unfolds, going as far as to tear families apart, Ben Mitchell (portrayed by Max Bowden) has taken a backseat from all storylines.
In recent episodes, his father Phil was sent to prison and pushed him away from the family business.
However, in upcoming scenes of the BBC One soap, Ben takes centre stage once again.
During a wander in Albert Square, as her place has been crowded since Linda’s return, Sharon bumps into Ben… but is horrified by what she sees.

The character played by Letitia Dean finds her former stepson in the gym’s alley with a man called Steve whom he has attacked.
Moments before, Ben found the man, Steve, and recognised him from the night before.
While Ben was out on the town with Lewis, Steve hurled homophobic abuse at the both of them alongside his friends – which was enough to make Ben angry.
However, he had to wait until the following day to do something about it as he was interrupted by Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) in his tracks.
Sharon is shocked when she finds Ben with Steve but decides to cover for him by telling his husband Callum she found the man unconscious.
Later on, she tells Ben he can’t behave in such a way.
But what could have pushed Ben to attack Steve?
Is his murderous streak – which made one victim, Heather Trott, in 2012 – back with a vengeance?
EastEnders fans may already know this but Ben and Callum (Tony Clay) were the victims of a horrific homophobic attack in January, 2022.
The assault was all the more traumatising for Ben who, frozen in fear, could only watch his other half get beaten.
Ben was left shaken by the attack and reminded of his former boyfriend Paul Coker, who died after a similar ordeal.
Scared witless, Ben was convinced he needed to get back in the closet in order to live a peaceful life and keep himself safe.
However, Callum was against the idea.
