Super small Tuesday morning
Hello Friends,
Another beautiful sunny day with just about no wave activity. Dee Why was seeing only the tiniest of tiny lines before 0800, so although the WNW wind was light and the surface smooth, you’d be doing well to get a knee high wave along the beach. The point, of course, is flat.
It’s back to the rainy, onshore weather tomorrow. The Bureau says 100% chance of rain in the 15-25mm range. And Thursday could potentially see both onshores and rain into the 60-100mm range! As I understand it, for every degree of average temperature rise, the atmosphere holds 7% more moisture. We’re already past the 1 degree mark and making steady progress toward 2.
Right now it looks as though the onshores will continue through Saturday, and the showery/rainy weather is projected to last to Monday – at least.
So get the washing done and enjoy the sunshine while we have it.

A weak ridge of high pressure extending along the coast causing southerly winds along the coast. A fresh easterly airstream will develop along the coast from Wednesday as a strong high builds over the southern Tasman Sea.
