THE Colwyn Bay Under-19s play the final home game of their debut season in the Cymru Premier North Development League Under the 4 Crosses Arena lights on Tuesday (April 5th, 7:15pm kick off).
Cefn Druids are the opponents and entry for all spectators is free.
Academy Director Matt Sampson commented: “It’s been a tough first season for the lads, however, we have definitely come out the other side much stronger than when we first started
“The 19s are the pinnacle of all we achieve in the Academy, and the way they’ve taken information on board and, most importantly, the effort and principles they play by, have resulted in the majority of the lads having experience of training with the first team.
Others, like Macsen Rhys-Williams, Aled Beardmore, Geraint Thomas and Morgan Ashworth have taken a step further by being part of the first team squad on match days.
“This is what success is for me and the Academy, providing first team opportunities to young, local lads who live and breathe the Club and know what it means to be a part of it.
“It would be great to see some of our locals and regulars come down and support the lads against a very good Cefn Druids side. It promises to be a good game.”
