Pixels is building the next-generation of Play-To-Earn gaming. Pixels is an MMO where players can use the NFTs they already own as their avatars and is taking on heavy inspiration from games like Animal Crossing & Stardew Valley.
We've raised money from some of the best players in the space with our round being led by Animoca Brands with others like OpenSea, the COO of Twitch, CEO of Fitbit, CEO of CrunchyRoll (and many more...) joining the round.
Pixels already has a functioning game, an 5000 piece NFT collection that sold out in 21 seconds, and it's core team built.
The Role
We're building at the intersection of Game Design, Economics, and Technology. The interesting challenge is making all of these systems work together.
We've assembled most of our creative and core team already - we're looking to fill gaps in our team related to systems design and economics. We need someone to come into the team who has strong experience modeling game economies, designign incentives, and who can help lead and drive product decisions.
Requirements
Extensive game development experience, completing implementation from concept to delivery.
Experience with game balance and pacing in a free-to-play economic model.
Expertise with spreadsheets and in manipulating, summarizing, and maintaining large data sets.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Passion for video games; an avid gamer with a solid understanding of mobile games.
Have worked on a high profile game with a significant amount of daily active users.3+ years designing digital games.

Experience with prototyping data models.
Proficiency in scripting or tools writing.
