Mo Salah ‘ready to sign new Liverpool deal after change of heart’ in Barcelona and PSG transfer blow
MO SALAH is ready to sign a new contract at Liverpool after changing his mind about leaving Anfield, according to reports.
The Egyptian’s current deal expires in 2023, but he is set to put pen to paper on an extension that could see him play out the rest of his career with the Reds.
Salah, 29, previously rejected terms of around £400,000-a-week – raising fears that he could look to leave the club in the near future.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are among the big-hitters that would love to sign the forward.
According to the Mirror, however, Salah is now set to snub their interest in order to stay at the Merseyside club following a change of heart.
He reportedly wanted a deal in line with Cristiano Ronaldo’s eyewatering £500k-a-week package at Manchester United – but could now accept less.

Part of his reasoning is the affection that the club has shown him in his five years since joining from Roma.
That was on full show display again this week, when he was supported after missing out on World Cup qualification with his country.
Liverpool’s initial pitch to Salah offered him a three-year extension, taking his deal to 2026.
Part of new terms discussed is the addition of an extra year – meaning that the prolific star would likely spend the remainder of his career with the Reds.

Salah has scored an incredible 153 goals in 240 Liverpool appearances – also laying on 57 assists.
He has helped Jurgen Klopp’s side win a Premier League title, Champions League, League Cup, Uefa Super Cup and Club World Cup.
His team are well in the mix to lift even more silverware during the remainder of this season.
The Reds trail Manchester City by one point at the top of the table with eight games remaining – going into next week’s crunch clash between the pair at the Etihad.
They are also still going strong in the Champions League and face Benfica in the quarter-finals, with the tie kicking off in Portugal on Tuesday.
