The #13 Arkadia Racing Alpine A110S of Pierre-Louis Chovet and Johan Boris Scheier has been stripped of its third-place finish during the opening race at Imola due to a technical irregularity.
Chovet and Scheier had driven to third place overall and second in the Silver Cup during the opening race of the GT4 European Series season, but after the race the car was found to not conform to the set 7,000rpm rev limit demanded by the Balance of Performance settings.
The car has therefore been excluded from the results, handing a place on the overall podium to Jean-Luc Beaubelique and Jim Pla in the #87 Akkodis ASP Mercedes-AMG. Likewise, Roee Meyuhas/Erwan Bastard’s #14 Saintéloc Audi R8 moves up to second in the Silver Cup order, with Tom Canning/Akhil Rabindra’s #19 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin Vantage completing the class top three.
