SONS of Anarchy star Ryan Hurst shocked fans, sharing a photo from inside the emergency room after being rushed to the hospital.
The post left fans concerned for the star, who opened up about the “pain” he was in.
Over the weekend, Ryan, 45, shared a series of photos from inside the hospital.
In them, he appeared to by in a hospital bed with his arms held up in the air.
The actor wore a black hat on his head, a black mask over his mouth and brown boots on his feet.
He did not reveal the reason for his hospital stay, but referenced “pain” in the caption.
Ryan’s caption read: “I’m Alive. It’s just pain… it’s not gonna hurt you.
“Keep up…and you’ll be kept up!”
Fans and friends flocked to the comments to wish the actor well.
“Get well soon bro,” one commenter wrote.
Another wrote: “Love ya brother.”
A third commenter added: “Get well man!”
While a number of fans inquired, Ryan did not reveal the reason for his hospitalization.
It appears that whatever the cause, it wasn’t too serious. In the days after the hospital photos were shared on his timeline, the TV star shared several others more positive photos online.
The following day, Ryan shared a series of photos of Buddhist statues, flags, friends and himself.
In one of the photos in the collection, the actor smiled with patches covering his under eyes.
He made a peace sign with his fingers, posing in a pink sweatshirt and black hat.
A second snap showed him surrounded by smiling people, again with his hands in the air.
On Saturday, Ryan resurfaced again with a photo of himself in traditional garb seemingly meditating.
He was surrounded by dogs in the photo, all of which were laying in the grass around him.
Ryan captioned the post: “Dogs are Soul Mates. Treat them accordingly. No fear. No pain. All Praise. All reaffirming. It’s science, people.”
He went on: “The heart of a dog is a bottomless thing. The heart of a dog is a bottomless thing.
“The heart of a dog is a bottomless thing.
“The heart of a dog is a bottomless thing. The heart of a dog is a bottomless thing. The heart of a dog is a bottomless thing.”
In addition to his role on Sons of Anarchy, Ryan is known for his role on Law & Order: SVU.
On the popular crime series, he played a character called Doug Loveless on Law & Order: SVU.
He was a grifter and a con artist who was first featured in the episode called Bombshell.
In the episode, he had a twin sister named Cassandra Davina (Rose McGowan).
And the episode revealed that the two had an incestuous relationship.
Doug and Cassandra went from state to state, stealing money from swingers.
