DID you know that different surfaces in your home require different cleaning methods?

Cleaning expert Caroline Solomon posted a video sharing how to properly clean different types of surfaces to ensure that they shine.

She said to use a damp microfiber cloth to clean wood furniture[/caption]

WOOD FURNITURE

For cleaning furniture made out of wood, Solomon said to simply wipe it down with a damp microfiber cloth.

MARBLE

To clean marble, spray it with water and a few drops of dish soap, then wipe it clean using a rag.

GLASS

Solomon revealed that to make glass surfaces shine, you can spray them with equal parts water and vinegar.

Then wipe them clean with a microfiber cleaning cloth.

WOOD FLOORS

In order to properly clean your wood floors, Solomon said to spray them with warm water and dish soap.

Then, wipe them using a spray mop or a rag.

STAINLESS STEEL

Using equal parts vinegar and water, Solomon said this mixture will easily clean your stainless steel surfaces.

You can also switch out the equal parts vinegar for equal parts rubbing alcohol.

No matter which mixture you use, wipe the surface clean using a microfiber cloth.

MIRRORS

Mirrors can easily collect dust and other unwanted streaks.

The expert said to use the same mixtures as stainless steel: either equal parts vinegar and water or equal parts rubbing alcohol and water.

Again, just wipe clean using a microfiber cloth.

CARPET

A stain on your carpet can quickly become an eyesore in your living space.

To clean any carpets, Solomon said to use a rag with warm water and a drop of dish soap to dab any unwanted spots.
