CARNOUSTIE PARTNERSHIP WITH PLAYERDATA

We are delighted to have joined with Edinburgh based PlayerData, a company that provides industry leading sports GPS and wearable technology services to football clubs at all levels, from amateur to professional.  This partnership allows manager Phil McGuire and his Coaching Staff the ability to monitor performance data on matchdays and during training sessions.

PlayerData’s tracking system will be worn by all of our players during training and games providing the coaching staff with valuable insights, such as tracking how hard players are working and enabling them to identify dips and spikes in performance by using key metrics such as distance, speed and high intensity running, while heatmaps will aid evaluation of player positioning.

The system was first used in training last week and then in the game against Blairgowrie last weekend mad is already providing valuable information that will be used and stored for interrogation as we develop our players
