IF YOU’VE moved in with your partner, you’ve probably realised your interior design style doesn’t match.
But one woman wasted no time in swapping her partner’s interiors to suit her own style after moving in with him.
Her boyfriend’s living room left little to be desired with curtains your nan would have and a strange collection of artificial flowers[/caption] Now, the room looks modern and fresh thanks to a lick of paint and rattan accessories[/caption]Posting to Reddit, a woman who goes by the username, mimimeme2, shared the interior transformation she undertook.
When she moved in with her then-boyfriend, now husband, his living room looked entirely different, with a mismatch of furnishings and old-school curtains.
But she soon got to work and created a stunning, modern living space for them both.
She wrote: “This is how my husband’s living room used to look like before moving in. And this is how it looks like now after I decorated the entire place.”
She then showed the before and after photos of the living room.

In the before photos, you can see a visibly worn out cream painted living room, an outdated bead chandelier, a tacky white leather sofa, artificial flowers, and a set of curtains like the ones your nan had.
She set to work straight away, giving the room a lick of paint and replacing his beaten, white leather sofa with a chic grey corner one.
Then she swapped out his old-fashioned curtains with a set of lightweight white ones to open up the room and allow more natural sunlight in and a set of blinds.
The woman upgraded his pine wood furniture set which included a coffee table and TV unit for white furniture and she replaced the artificial flowers with natural greenery.

The after pictures also show a new bookcase, a fluffy rug, rattan baskets, mirrors, and plant pots to modernise the space.
The room looks completely different thanks to his girlfriend’s vision and users on Reddit were seemingly grateful she stepped in and were seriously impressed by the transformation.
One person wrote: “Oh honey he needed Jesus and you delivered.”
“Now that’s a glow up.” Another user agreed.
“As a man, I’m saying you are doing God’s work. Lol.” Added a third.
A fourth praised her, saying: “You did a great job! It’s so inviting and full of light now. I’d never want to leave.
She swapped them for a sleek grey corner sofa, rattan chair and a much more appealing coffee table[/caption]
