GORDON RAMSAY has taken over from Paddy McGuinness as telly’s top matchmaker if the TV chef’s new show is anything to go by.
Viewers who saw last night’s debut episode of Future Food Stars can’t fail to have noticed fiery Valentina Fois and belligerent Vincenzo Gentile.
Two contestants on Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars had a secret off-air romance[/caption] Contestant Valentina Fois had a whirlwind romance with Vincenzo Gentile throughout filming[/caption] Valentina and Vincenzo are said to have struck up an instant bond during the cliff task[/caption]I can reveal that the couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance throughout filming.
But unfortunately their fiery passions meant it didn’t last long after bonding over the cliff task, where Gordon told the contestants to jump in the sea and swim to test their mettle.
A TV insider said: “This wasn’t exactly what Gordon was expecting.
“Valentina and Vincenzo struck up an instant bond, helping each other with the cliff task which was tough for them both.

“From that moment on, they grew closer and became a fully-fledged item.”
Unlike some couples from Paddy’s ITV dating show Take Me Out, which ran for nine years before it was axed in 2019, there was no fairytale ending.
After Future Food Stars kicked off yesterday it was already being compared to another BBC1 hit, The Apprentice, which has had its own share of romances over the years.
Gordon invites a group of chefs to Cornwall, where he spent much of lockdown in one of his homes.
They compete in a number of team challenges, including running food shacks on the beach, using the finest local produce.
And just like Lord Sugar, Gordon will be tasked with “firing” a contestant who fails to impress him on each episode – which the TV chef shouldn’t find too difficult.
The winner will take home £150,000 to invest in their food business, with the money coming out of Gordon’s wallet.
Unfortunately that wasn’t Vincenzo, who was given the boot by Gordon.
Our host kicked him off with the surprisingly intimate last words: “I’m sorry, we’re done.”
Perhaps those words sent Valentina into a jealous rage . . .

EMILY ATACK has opened up about the first time she met Inbetweeners favourite Simon Bird set – as they filmed a sex scene for the sitcom.
She says the encounter was made even more awkward because of their age difference, Emily being 17 and Simon, who played Will McKenzie, in his late 20s.
