THE Chase fans all said the same thing after a contestant got an easy science question COMPLETELY wrong tonight.
Thursday’s instalment of the ITV show saw Paul, Sonali, Win and Lindsay take on Anne Hegerty.
Lindsay was first to face The Vixen, but before he could do that, he had to complete the cash builder round.
He managed to bag himself just £4,000.
And one question in particular really threw him off.
Host Bradley Walsh asked: “Peroxide is a general term meaning a compound containing two atoms of what element?”

A worried Lindsay replied: “Err… bleach?”
Before moving onto the next question Bradley tried to hold back the laughter as he told him the correct answer – oxygen.
Viewers at home were left in hysterics over his slip up.
One wrote on Twitter: “Bleach,” with laughing emojis.
Another pointed out: “Where tf is bleach on the periodic table of elements #TheChase.”
A third chimed in: “#TheChase Didn’t know bleach was an element…”
Another simply said: “BLEACH,” with a laughing emoji.
Bradley couldn’t get over his answer.
As soon as the round ended he said to Lindsay: “Bleach?!”
Lindsay said: “Yeah… It wasn’t my strong point at school I don’t think. Isn’t bleach peroxide right?!”
