Diablo Athletic League Foothill Division most valuable player led Moraga school to North Coast Section Open Division championship and CIF NorCal Open Division final. Playoff run capped a sensational high school career for the St. Mary’s College-bound star that included a D-II state championship as a freshman and D-I regional championship as a sophomore. Courtney Anderson Jr., Dublin, 6-5, junior
First-team all-East Bay Athletic League pick led Dublin to an 8-1 record in the round-robin portion of the league schedule and a spot in the North Coast Section Open Division playoffs. The son of a former Raiders tight end, he averaged 20.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
Ryan Beasley, Dougherty Valley, 5-11, junior
Player of the year in the East Bay Athletic League was a scoring machine for North Coast Section Division I runner-up, averaging 30.6 points per game, to go with eight rebounds and four assists. In section playoffs, he scored 43 points in both the semifinals and final.
Aidan Braccia, Sacred Heart Prep, 6-1, senior
West Bay Athletic League’s co-most valuable player with teammates Emmer Nichols. Led the Gators in scoring at 18.9 points per game. Also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for a team that nearly reached the Central Coast Section Open Division final.
Aidan Burke, Archbishop Mitty, 6-3, senior
West Catholic Athletic League player of the year helped Mitty win the league title and reach the Central Coast Section Open Division final. Scored 26 in a win over St. Ignatius and was Mitty’s top scorer in two league wins over Riordan. Averaged 16.2 points and six rebounds per game.
John Squire, St. Ignatius, 6-6, junior
Was dominant while leading St. Ignatius to the CIF NorCal Division I final. Scored 25 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in a 69-67 semifinal win at Inderkum-Sacramento. In a 58-56 loss to Clovis North in the NorCal final, the all-WCAL first-team player had 18 points and 25 rebounds.
King-Njhsanni Wilhite, Archbishop Riordan, 6-1, junior
West Catholic Athletic League first-team selection ignited Riordan to its first Central Coast Section Open Division championship and the semifinals of the CIF NorCal Open Division regional. Scored 29 in the CCS final against Mitty and 35 in a NorCal win at De La Salle.
Jeremiah Dargan, Clayton Valley Charter, 6-5, senior
First-team pick in the Diablo Athletic League’s Foothill Division. Led North Coast Section Division I champions in points (15.3), rebounds (6.3), assists (3.0) and steals (3.0). Scored 19 points in the NCS semifinals against Bishop O’Dowd.
Tyler Dutto, Miramonte, 6-4, senior
The point guard was a first-team pick in the Diablo Athletic League’s Foothill Division. Averaged 10.6 points and a team-leading 6.2 assists and 3.3 steals. Also averaged 5.3 rebounds for a team that reached the NCS Open Division semifinals and was seeded fourth in the NorCal D-I bracket.

Kevin Gad, Granada, 6-7, senior
East Bay Athletic League first-team selection helped lead Granada to the league tournament final and a spot in the North Coast Section Open Division playoffs. Averaged 20.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
Garret Keyhani, Serra, 6-7, senior
Helped lead the Padres to a 20-season season, earning first-team All-West Catholic Athletic League recognition. Averaged 16.9 points and 8.5 rebounds. In a win over University, he finished with 33 points and 13 rebounds.
Thayne Merrill, Northgate, 6-5, senior
Averaged a team-leading 14.9 points per game as Northgate blossomed into one of the North Coast Section’s top teams, winning an opening-round game in the section’s Open Division playoffs. Received first-team honors in the Diablo Athletic League’s Foothill Division.
Derek Sangster, Archbishop Mitty, 6-7, junior
First-team All-West Catholic Athletic League selection. Averaged 15.7 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game as Mitty won the league title and finished as the Central Coast Section Open Division runner-up.
Cade Bennett, Campolindo, 6-1, senior
First-team selection in the Diablo Athletic League’s Foothill Division. Averaged 10.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Scored 17 points against Riordan in NorCal Open semifinals.
Alec Blair, De La Salle, 6-5, freshman
First-team honors in the East Bay Athletic League. On a DLS team with balanced scoring, Blair led the way with 10.3 points per game, in addition to seven rebounds and three assists. Scored a game-high 21 points in a 51-50 loss to Campolindo in NCS Open Division final.
Cameron Brown, Bishop O’Dowd, 6-3, senior
West Alameda County Conference Foothill Division co-player of the year. Led the Dragons to a league title and the semifinals of the North Coast Section Division I playoffs. Averaged 18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
Trey Knight, Moreau Catholic, 6-0, senior
Helped lead the Mariners to an undefeated record in the Mission Valley Athletic League. First-team all-league selection. Averaged 13.0 points, 5.3 assists, 2.9 steals and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Ahmaree Muhammad, Oakland Tech, 5-10, junior
Led the Bulldogs to the Oakland Athletic League title and the quarterfinals of the NorCal Division I regional. Averaged nearly 17 points and five steals per game for a team that finished 23-5.

Capped his high school career by receiving co-player of the year honors in the West Alameda County Conference Foothill Division. Averaged 21.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.1 steals per game for a team that reached the semifinals of the NCS Division III playoffs.
