Elden Ring: How To Get The Traveling Maiden Armor Set
Maidenless Tarnished in Elden Ring can now "become the maiden" themselves with the Traveling Maiden Set, a complete collection of armor pieces with a doll-like appearance. Although tattered and bloody, the Traveling Maiden Set features a dainty and darling aesthetic for fashionable adventurers looking to wear something more innocent-looking and meek compared to the bombastic and ornamental warrior Demigod sets in Elden Ring. Accordingly, the Traveling Maiden is perfect for roleplaying adventurers who'd like to start their NG+ journey with a more humble appearance than leaving the Stranded Graveyard with end-game gear.
While the Traveling Maiden Set doesn't offer any unique bonuses or significant protection, it provides superior Focus and Vitality, increasing one's resistance to Sleep, Death Blight, and bouts of Madness. The location of this armor set is the Shack of the Lofty, a cabin in the northwest of the Mountaintops of the Giants' eastern half. To reach this landmark, Tarnished travelers must gain access to the Grand Lift of Rold.
Unfortunately, there is no way to reach the Mountaintops of the Giants quickly. Other provinces have multiple access points such as Sending Gates or Teleportation Trap Chests for easy access. On the other hand, Elden Ring's Mountaintops of the Giants region stays locked until Tarnished adventurers have received the Rold Medallion from Melina after defeating Godfrey's Golden Shade and Morgott the Omen King of Leyndell.
Nevertheless, once Elden Ring fans have beaten the Omen Demigod of the Royal Capital and passed through the Forbidden Lands, they can enter the Mountaintops of the Giants. Starting from the Grand Lift of Rold, travel through the Zamor's Ruins and northward to the long rock bridge. Be mindful of the bridge's Golem Archer since its arrows can knock the player off the ledge, resulting in instant death. After reaching the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins, follow the frozen river northeast to the Freezing Lake.
Next, go up the short slope and travel west to the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook. Along the way, several archers will fire at the player but can be easily avoided atop Torrent. However, a nearby Tibia Mariner is not as easily bypassed, spawning giant skeletons from the ground to attack the player. Be cautious of their ranged beam attacks. Furthermore, a Death Rite Bird will spawn along this trail during the nighttime. Instead of going left to the Stargazer Ruins, Tarnished can descend the small cliffs in the west to find the Shack of the Lofty. Search the cabin to obtain the Traveling Maiden Set in Elden Ring.
